How it Works
With Covid-19 and its stresses and risks, my patients have voiced concerns about going into offices and places of all kinds, especially health care ones. If you are scared about exposures and have health issues that place you at high risk, then mobile acupuncture is a great alternative for you. My patients tell me that they also prefer the privacy and convenience of me coming to them for in home acupuncture treatments. Common issues I treat are: pain, injury, fertility challenges, stress, anxiety, insomnia and provide support for patients in cancer treatment.
My family and family name is well known. Sometimes it feels like privacy does not exist for me. That is why I love Karen’s Mobile Acupuncture services. I am an ICU nurse of more than 34 years and a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist for 22 years. My safety protocols are well developed and in fact exceed CDC recommendations. I treat in homes and businesses. It is very common for my patients to have acupuncture house call visits outdoors. For example: I frequently treat poolside, on decks and patios. This fantastic option affords the best ventilation possible and creates for you a safe, serene and inviting setting that you love most.
Once you are relaxing on my treatment table with acu-points in place, I am always close by should you need anything. Most people prefer that I am seated within ear shot while I finalize their electronic chart notes.
If it is appropriate to your situation, I can use hot rocks, which rest on acupoints or topical warming techniques with Chinese herbs. Both of these practices are deeply relaxing, strengthening for your body, and effective for pain reduction.
Safety Protocols for Karen Reynolds Mobile Acupuncture
For your ultimate protection: my current house call or on-site appointments have extra measures in place due to Covid 19. To keep your home or business space safe, I always do the following:
- Wear a fabric face covering at all times.
- Currently use disposable sheets and table paper coverings for my treatment table. (One-time use linen is available upon request.)
- Use CDC compliant cleaning products for my treatment table and supplies.
- Sterilize my vehicle with UV light scan device between treatments.
Available upon request, I am happy to employ additional measures including:
- Wear one-time use coverall suit over my clothing.
- Wear one-time use shoe coverings over my footwear.
- Scan your temperature with a touchless thermometer prior to starting your session.
